Since we launched Shakez, it has been our specific goal to give you a healthy fast food option that tastes incredible. Having identified a gap in the market for nutritious grab & go food, Shakez serve up power-packed protein drinks at our vibrant shake bars.

Driven by our innovative concept of “Drinkfood”, these deliciously satisfying smoothies have everything your body needs, be that pre-workout, post-workout or simply to tackle the demands of modern life. What’s more, our exciting 100% vegan menu which includes fresh juice, protein oatmeal and acai bowls caters for everyone 6 years old and up.

OUR STORY

Sometimes it’s the smallest event that triggers the biggest idea. Unable to find an affordable, protein-rich meal to satisfy a post-workout hunger, Ashvin Sridhar identified a gap in the Australian convenience food market for healthy and nutritious grab & go options.

Inspired by the vibrant buzz of existing juice bars, but focused on filling meal replacements, the first of Shakez kiosks was born.

A shakez store requires a very small footprint. Our kiosks can operate a full menu range and operate at very busy periods with just 15 sqm.

Do we make food or coffee?

No, our menu only consists of Shakes, Smoothies and Fresh Juices. We are a Shake bar and we want to be known for making the best shakes. This makes the business and our inventory simple to manage. Since our concept is ‘Drinkfood’ our Shakes are filling therefore we are both food and drink combined in one.

Do we cater to different dietary requirements?

Our entire menu can be made Vegan, Gluten-free and Kid-friendly. Our products are loved by everyone.

Will I receive support?

Our team will be with you from the moment you express your interest and throughout the entire time you are within the Shakez organisation.

We have industry leading professionals on board to ensure you get the best of the best. Our operationals team will provide support on how to operate your business and provide the necessary training.

Do I need previous business experience to partner with Shakez?

It is recommended you have some knowledge of budgeting, customer service and people management skills however a strong willingness to learn and adapt is much more important. Your training will cover everything you need to know but you must be willing to roll up your sleeves and put in the hard yards.

Do I need to work in the business full time?

From experience the most successful stores are owner-operated. You must be willing to work full time and be hands on within all aspects of the business for at least the first 6-8 months. This will depend on a lot of factors, so feel free to contact our team if you have any more questions regarding this.
